    History

    Founded in 1974 Frontier Housing was founded in 1974 in Morehead, KY by community churches to address affordable housing needs in northeastern Kentucky. Frontier currently provides services in 22 Appalachian counties. Frontier specializes in working with customers and communities to provide affordable housing solutions including credit counseling and homebuyer education, constructing energy efficient new homes for homebuyers, helping homebuyers assemble the financing they need to buy a home (new or existing), owner-occupied home rehabilitation, and rental housing.
